Our History
Our history goes back in 2014 when ACEY Europe was founded in Athens, Greece, as bussines model by freelancers’ project agreements operating then as a collaborative working group of art experts and managers. Our record then mainly included creative and innovative ideas implemented on bussineses, application submittions for fundraising from the EU and the Greek goverment and we were operating as business consultants and advisors for entrepreneurs and SMS’s.
We had developed since 2014 several succesful submition proposals in the EU (Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Erasmus+ Youth, etc.) and fundraising campaigns for artists and Municipaliies in Greece. However, our members were actively participating at large scale international contemporary art exhibitions such as: the Art-Athina international art fair, the Platforms Project independent art fair, the Art-Thessaloniki contemporary art fair, among others and organising their own contemporary art exhibition productions too independently.
On June 2023 we rebranded ACEY Europe and updated its bussines model into the ACEY Europe – Arts & Culture Community (not-for-profit legal entity registered in Greece). Our bussines model is a displacement of the DEFI (decentralised finance) concepts in the Arts & Culture creative sectors and we operate since then globally supporting international artists focusing on the Environment and Climate Change, fighting unermployment in the above sectors and managing opportunities for Art & Culture Professionals. We have establishe also the CULTUREisDUTY customized Cultural events platform and we implement through it events about the World Peace Day of the UN General Assembly and the 17 SDG’s. We are closely working with entities such as Universities, Research Centres, Municipalities, Private Corporations developing the developing Economic & Social Affairs projects and events connecting the Arts & Culture world with the global market. Experience and expertise
In 2023, our experience and expertise of the art market and cultural services sector in accordance with the Climate Change led us to reposition “ACEY Europe – Arts & Culture Community” into a non-for-profit company promoting decentralised finance ideas and concepts of the New Technological Era supporting Community building and providing Capacity building opportunities and solutions through intersectional and effective, impactful project managment focusing in the Arts & Culture sectors creative contibution to the Economy.
We all need to sustain our exprertise constantly in the new global market environment and that is why we are engaged to develop our global community into a step up tool for cultural players and artists in the EU and deliver their positive Change in the world.
We are working in the Arts and Culture sectors of different countries of the EU and want to highlight progress in our fields and deliver it professionally. Our professional subscribed members work together and share their expertices in the direction to cover niches between bureaucracy, practise, inspiration, high quality services and high standard professional opportunities that exist and can be distributed to artists and cultural professionals in the post Covid and the AI era.
